Brewed to celebrate the anniversary of the 1745 Jacobite rebellion the ale proved to be so popular it has become a permanent addition to the range. Based on an eighteenth century recipe the ale is spiced with coriander which gives a remarkably fresh aftertaste.

Beer of the week at The Haven

Available just in time for New Year (on Monday in fact) this 8% abv  Scottish Ale was first brewed in 1995 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Jacobite uprising in Scotland. It uses coriander as a main ingredient and is aged in oak barrels to give it big flavours with a punch. In 17oz bottles its perfect for sharing.
