And tonight, we welcome The Handsome Ladies for the first first Thursday of free live music!

The Handsome Ladies is an open jam group for bluegrass players of all levels, formerly associated with a national organization with the same name. While the group is not exclusive to woman, the intention is to support and encourage women in bluegrass which has historically been male-dominated. The Handsome Ladies get together to play (“jam”) once a month on the first Thursday of each month from 7-9pm, usually attracting 8-15 players.  They play mostly bluegrass, with some country and old-time tunes sneaking in from time to time. The Handsome Ladies are delighted to jam at The Haven. 

All are welcome to come and listen – the “grinners”. Or bring an instrument and jam with the “pickers”!
