The Haven presents Tidal Life by amazing artist, and Haven regular, Jenine Shereos.
Tidal Life at The Haven exhibits from Sunday onwards, come along and meet the artist from 2-5pm. Sangria and Bridies on a first come first served basis!
The Tidal Life series of photographs grew out of several months of Jenine living on Cape Cod last summer.
The work encompasses sculpture,
installation, and photography and draws from her background in fiber and textile
processes.
Shereos’ work has been exhibited widely both nationally and internationally,
and published in The Boston Globe, The Los Angeles Times, Huffington Post, and Frame
Magazine.
In addition, she was recently a recipient of the 2015 Massachusetts Cultural
Council Fellowship in Crafts. Shereos currently lives in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood
of Boston, Massachusetts.
“I moved to the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston five years ago, right around the
time The Haven opened. I love the rustic atmosphere here, and thought it would be a
great location to show photos of the cape, especially given the rich seafaring heritage of
Scotland.”
