Hilken and Chris
Tonight sees the continuation of The Haven’s Thursday night music series featuring Jamaica Plain artists in an alterna-folk vein.
This week sees two sensations performing for your delectation.
Ex-Fuzzy leader Hilken Mancini and Buffalo Tom bassist Chris Colbourn will be playing their own unique brand of flurry folk rock. That is songs with depth, cynicism and a healthy dose of edge.
Hilken reminds us of Marilyn Monroe if she’d hung out with Jack Kerouack.
Show starts at 10.15pm sharp.
