Emerald Expressions: An Exploration of Irish Whiskey
We’re kicking off the season with a one-of-a-kind pairing of whiskey and music while continuing our celebration of all things Irish! Join us for a deep dive into the world of Irish whiskey, as we explore rich flavors and stories, all while enjoying live tunes from The Boundary Objects and taking notes on an incredible guide by good friend and whisk(e)y aficionado Rafael Rodriguez Jr. It’s the perfect blend of dram, chat and song that’ll get your spring started with a bang!

This Weekend: Live Music at The Haven

Saturday Night at 9:30 PM — Sugar Blood Jinx

The second installment in our Saturday night LIVE MUSIC series curated by Aaron Perrino of The Sheila Divine and Aaron and the Lord brings us Sugar Blood Jinx! Songwriter Eric Waxwood conjures an aggressive old-style sound on his National Steel Guitar. Scott Pittman (drums) and Matthew Murphy (bass) drive the rhythm section, while Jim Clifford adds harmonica, hoots, and hollers. Combined, it’s an alchemy of old and new, a reverence for Delta Blues greats such as Son House and Charlie Patton. But don’t get it twisted, this isn’t some precious museum piece. It’s get up, shake and dance music—a hardcore boogie.

Sunday at 2 PM — Sunday Jams

Join us from 2-4 PM every Sunday afternoon for FREE live music. Consider bringing an instrument and being part of the action, or just grab brunch or a drink and enjoy!

We’re an official JP Porchfest venue and have 3 live acts ready for you THIS SATURDAY, August 19th:

12:30 – 1:30 AMBER WILDS
4:00 – 5:00 BOB GREENMAN
5:00 – 6:00 SAM BERGQUIST

From 6:30 PM, we kick off the AFTERPARTY and more live music with the Leandro and Steve Duo and special guest Nick Wickstrom on Flamenco Guitar!

Argentinian Leandro Alonso joins Boston local Steve Cerrato to produce unique arrangements of his all time hits and favorite songs. They combine flamenco, bossanova and jazz on classical and acoustic guitars. Fun fact: Leandro and Steve met each other playing open mics in the Boston area! Special guest Nick Wickstrom “El Guapo” joins the Leandro and Steve Duo on the flamenco guitar for this special performance LIVE at The Haven and our JP Porchfest afterparty! We will pass the hat for him to support his return to studying Flamenco in Spain a few days later. Let’s celebrate JP Porchfest and give Nick a proper sendoff!

In the midst of it all, we are still YOUR DESTINATION for Football in Boston with two Premier League games on Saturday AND the MLS Leagues Cup Final (featuring Messi!!!) :
