Haven Whisky Tasting Event Schedule – June thru Aug

Join an intimate gathering of Scotch enthusiasts, experts and novices alike as we journey through taste and time.
Each month we gather to taste Scotch paired with Scottish Food and Scottish Music.
This is a convivial mix of banter, poetry, whisky and great food.

The tasting group decides which Whiskies make the cut onto the next Haven Scotch list.

Each Month will feature a different theme, music and food offerings. Each event is on a Monday and we welcome guests from 6.30pm.
The event will run for approximately 2 1/2 hours.

THE FORMAT:
WHISKY
A welcome whisky cocktail, then Five more interesting and exclusive  Malts will be presented. Some small batch releases, some value sleepers and premium malts.
FOOD
Indulge in a selection of Haven specialties:
Edinburgh gin infused Scottish Salmon with PEI mussels,
Scotch Eggs, Haggis Tartlets,  Finnan Haddie Croquettes,
Finnan Haddie spread and Haven oatcakes,
White Pudding Entree.
Sticky Toffee Pudding, Deep Fried mars Bar
*Vegan/Pescatarian catered to NO PROBLEM
MUSIC
Imbibe while listening to four classic Scottish Albums from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 00’s-*

The Haven July Vibe

We have it all going on at The Haven this July. If you are visiting or on staycation pop in and say a big hi! We want to know where you are from. And….we only jsut got our liquor license so we are pretty excited to say the least……
First up we have TWO whisky tastings this month on the 10th and 24th. Two chances to be regaled by our in house experts….and taste some rare and hard to find (and expensive) whisky and meet some new people to boot!
Our holiday hours are a little different this year- late night menu kicks into effect from 9pm every night. Subtle difference but you can still get our fantastic BURGER!
